Sound healing

Music therapy uses different aspects of sound to improve your mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

The science of healing through sounds is ancient. Mantras practices are used by yogis for millennium to sustain changes in the energy bodies, promote the free flow of prana or life force energy, foster protection and manifest intentions. The ancient Greeks, like Pythagoras, used music to cure mental disorders and throughout history, sound has been used to help people work faster, influence, and boost morale.

In music therapy, each note corresponds to a chakra and each music interval can have a specific effect to help align the chakras, remove energy blockage, and balance the flow of prana energy.

A sound bath is a meditation, a journey into self, a relaxation, a vibrational massage. A session may involve sitting or lying down while listening to music vibrations or sounds from a speaker or instruments. It is a relaxation experience that induces our brain to produce Theta waves, the same waves that we create when we sleep or during a meditation.

Some of the benefits of sound therapy include:

  • lower stress levels
  • improved sleep
  • increased focus and performance
  • fewer mood swings
  • lower blood pressure
  • strengthened immunity
  • be complimentary to traditional medical therapies in ailments like depression or disease such as cancer.
